MEDICARE ADVANTAGE
IS A FOR PROFIT INSURANCE COMPANY
NOT MEDICARE !
The data is out. The bill targets Medicare Advantage plans, which Congressmen Mark Pocan and his allies say have been turned into a cash grab for insurance companies. The program, in which healthcare coverage options from private insurance companies serve as an alternative to traditional Medicare, was initially designed as a cost-cutting measure to encourage insurance companies to provide seniors with healthcare coverage at a competitive price. Nearly half of Medicare-eligible Americans are now enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan. But multiple lawsuits have documented how private insurance companies seek to overdiagnose Medicare Advantage enrollees to receive more money from the federal government, according to a recent New York Times analysis. The Times found that eight of the 10 biggest Medicare Advantage providers have submitted inflated bills to the government. Estimates of the cost of Medicare Advantage overbilling in 2020 alone range from $12bn to $25bn.

MEDICARE ADVANTAGE IS NOT MEDICARE ! ! !
- Privatization of Medicare: Viewed by many MA plans as a way to privatize Medicare, routing taxpayer dollars into the pockets of for-profit insurance companies.
- Not true Medicare: Many argue MA plans are not part of original Medicare and operate under different rules, often requiring pre-authorization for care, unlike original Medicare which typically pays for medically necessary services without prior approval.
- Financial incentives for denials: Many suggests that MA plans have a financial incentive to deny or delay care because they are reimbursed by the Medicare trust fund regardless of the amount of care their customers use. He cites evidence of widespread denials and inappropriate terminations of care by MA plans.
- Overcharging taxpayers: Reports indicate that MA plans may be overcharging the federal government by billions of dollars each year, potentially enough to eliminate Medicare Part B premiums or fully fund the prescription drug program.
- Misleading advertising: Many criticize the advertising tactics used by MA plans, arguing that they create confusion and lead seniors to believe they are signing up for the same benefits as original Medicare, when they are not.
- Difficulty returning to original Medicare: Its to be pointedout the potential difficulty for individuals who switch from original Medicare to an MA plan to return to original Medicare or purchase a Medigap policy later.

THE SO-CALLED GREATEST GENERATION ?
YOU KNOW THE ONES WHO FIRE-BOMBED DRESDEN, NUKED JAPAN TWICE, DROVE CADILLACS, AND DEMANDED SENIOR COFFEES AT McDONALDS
HOWEVER WITH THE WAR IN VIETNAM THE GREATEST GENERATION FOUND OUT THAT SOMETIMES FATHER DIDN'T KNOW BEST
PRAYER HEALS TUBERCULOSIS
Ronald Earl Knowlen of Los Angeles, California 1922 - 2012. A response to this Christian Science testimony is required since a few details were left out such as the first being that Ronald E. Knowlen was a “Draft Dodger” during WWII. Yes legally by signing up with the Merchant Marines but in the book of others and myself was a “Draft Dodger” He even bragged about it his friends from time to time on how he avoided the draft by going into the Merchant Marines. (Pacific Theater) This infuriated others, and myself during the Vietnam War years like many of the so-called greatest generation which for the most part condemned the young people who fled to Canada to avoid the draft from a war that was illegally started. Unfortunately, my mother Lorraine Knowlen stayed silent about it. It’s to be noted that she later died from a stress related illness. Another detail of my father’s WWII experience that is not mentioned in his Christian Science testimony, and that is that he almost killed another man during an altercation on board ship. As an officer he had a verbal altercation with a seaman. Shortly after he walked back and hitting the sailer causing the individual to fall back hitting his head on mooring anvil. My father was always vague about the details after the incident, but said that the sailer later apologized to him. It was after this incident and several enemy air attacks against the ship, my father, became ill with tuberculosis. My father sat out most of the rest of the war at a hospital in Panama. After one visit with a doctor my father claimed the County of Los Angeles never followed through on monitoring the so-called condition. A friend who’s an MD said at best my father may have had at the most a very mild case of tuberculosis if at all. It’s to be noted that during my parents marriage. It was never decided that my father would publish his experience. It was only decided after my mother had passed away that my father’s second wife who is a published author, mainly to promote her self insisted that he published his experience in a church publication. My lovely experience with him was that while having an affair with a woman (3x married) he filed a Property Partition Lawsuit against me over a rental income property in Los Angeles from my late mother's estate. I filed a cross-complaint and the case was settled out of court and the property was sold to a third party thus I remained a tenant but I made a promise to myself that my father had lost his "privilege" of having a daughter-in-law and or a grandchild.
About a year or two before he passed away during a conversation with him I found his observation of me interesting. He said that I was a very generous person, but I was one not to piss off, and that I had a nice taste in woman.
Several months after my father's passing in 2012 I met Jackie and the rest is history....
BACKGROUND:
In 1980 my mother and myself inherited a small six unit apartment building from her mother in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles. My father Ronald E Knowlen did not receive any funds from my grandmother's estate. From 1980 up to the time of my mother's death I received income from the property. Upon my mother's passing in 1993 I obtained her share of the family home which was also in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Within months of my mother's passing my father began to have an affair with a woman in his church that being author Maralee Burdick. Both her husband and myself were very upset about the affair. He finally told my father to stay away from his wife. Unfortunately Mr. Edward Burdick passed within about a year.
Since my father was trustee I oolong received any income from the my late mother's apartment building which devastated me financially and serious caused my great alarm for my family's estate since he became her fourth husband. Therefore in 1996 I offered to trade my share in the family home for his share of the apartment building. My father refused and demanded that I sell my share of the apartment building to him plus move out even though I had lived there for eleven years. I refused and my father Ronald Earl Knowlen filed a property partition lawsuit against me and the property was sold to a third party.
Through my attorney I did file a cross complaint where I sued for l(1.) ost income, (2.) lost profits, (3) My share of 1994 Northridge Earthquake relief funds. By today's standards the sum would be around 80K .
I remained a tenant but I made a promise to myself that my father had lost his "privilege" of having a daughter-in-law and or a grandchild.
